Oh Google You’re Killing Me!

Are you buried in Google Adwords costs? No matter how you slice and dice your ads are you still paying more to Google than you get from the ad?

You’re not alone my friend. I too can say “I’ve been there”. I don’t know how many books on PPC I’ve purchased in my online career only to remove the ad out of frustration.

UNTIL…..I figured out these 7 steps.

Here is a 7 step method a little known, but powerful technique that will cut your costs and actually draw traffic to your site. Up until now only the “Big Boys” knew this…..

Google Site Specific Advertising….

Step 1. Perform Keyword Research on targeted keywords or keyword phrases that will utilize attraction marketing to identify your target market on Google’s search engine. Google will present the top sites with those keywords. These are the highest traffic sites in your keyword niche.

Step 2. Analyze those top 10 - 20 sites and confirm the presence of Google AdSense advertising on them. Save the URLs of those sites that have AdSense advertising on them and save those url’s to a notepad file.

Step 3. In your Google AdWords account, create your Google ad using effective direct response marketing copywriting skills (you may want to analyze current Google AdWords ads in your niche to identify effective copy ideas).

Step 4. Do NOT choose to set up a CPC (cost per click) campaign and instead choose a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) payment plan instead. This allows you to bid and control your ad costs at lower rates. Google will let you know how high the effectiveness of your ad will be as you test and input different CPM limits ($3 - $4 CPM). Choose the lowest CPM allowable that will still rate an effective rating from Google.

Step 5. Review Your Ad and edit so that you input the EXACT page on each site that you would want your ad to be shown. Instead of just being anywhere on the New York Times site, you can actually enter the exact page url in the site that you want your ad to be shown in.

Step 6. Test your ad and analyze traffic and cost results. Split test your ad changing your headline and body.

Step 7. Choose different keywords and repeat the process.

You can see how this simple, low tech and low cost tactic can generate massive traffic that is targeted and site specific thus, lowering your overall advertising cost while at the same time increasing the level of effectiveness and quality of your traffic.

Attraction Marketing Tactics To Increase Your Sales

There are my people who have problems getting their opt ins to buy from them. Try some of these secrets using “Attraction Marketing” tactics to increase your sales…

There’s something almost magical about getting your opt-ins to actually buy from you. All the work you do up front to generate the leads and follow up with them, and then finally some actually decide to take action and purchase your product or join you in business. Nothing is more important than getting this part of your “system” right. Attraction Marketing consists of using Direct Response Marketing psychology throughout your marketing process and that all starts with List Building. Your main tool in building responsive lists is your lead capture page. A properly structured lead capture page can be the difference between a hyper responsive list and a list that just doesn’t buy.

I talk to many people who get frustrated with a list that doesn’t buy. I’ve been there myself…Here are some suggestions that have helped us improve our own conversion rates. Use them in your own marketing process and you’ll see your conversions improve too.

1. Explain to them EXACTLY what the benefits are if they buy from you.

You must clearly state why they should be buying what you’re offering. How will buying from you help them get what they’re looking for?

2. STAY FOCUSED and TO THE POINT.

A main threat to sales conversions is site distractions. Keep your lead capture page “to the point” and stay focused on your compelling Unique Selling Proposition throughout your page copy. Start with a compelling Headline then go to the benefit bullets, then go to a call to action on your offer. Remember a benefit is answered by “You Get”. Eliminate all other distractions to guide them to the natural opt in process.

3. Keep the words to a minimum.

Don’t distract your capture page with unnecessary details or too much fluff. And NEVER use blatant hype!

Focus on this instead:

• Being clear about your main point use as few words as possible

• Using summaries, sub-headings, bulleted lists and short paragraphs

• Adopting a standard one-column format for easy reading.

4. Keep it simple and to the point

Enhance your reader’s experience by keeping it easy to flow through your site. Don’t “cheapen” your site with too many loud graphics or distracting pictures.

Here’s what NOT to have on your lead capture page:

• Horizontal scrolling (people hate that!)

• Links to other windows

• Annoying autoplay media (if at work, you will get clicked off).

5. Use a direct and specific call to take action

Focus on one main objective per page (don’t offer too many options on one page). Make the call-to-action button clearly visible without having to scroll; don’t bury it under pages of information. Consider using tabs or a pop-up box to consolidate information.

6. Be verify specific

On your sales page, be very focused on the task at hand and stay on point. Agitate the frustrations of your target market. Let them know you feel their pain and then provide the benefits they’ll receive by buying your idea, product or service. And ask them to join you. Tell them what they need to do next.

7. Show off the differences you bring to the table.

What makes you different from your competitors? Free training and support platform, traffic generation systems, exclusive bonuses, etc.? If you’ve got it, let them know about it!

8. Video Reviews

The power of a video product review can not be understated. Help your site visitor understand your idea, or presentation by offering videos where you explain key benefits or topics that separate you from your competitors. Be honest. Don’t read. Don’t hype. Just relax and have a quick (2-3 minute) chat about the specific part of the site the video is on.

9. Testimonials are POWERFUL

Credibility is powerful. People don’t buy from websites, people buy from people. So use testimonials from team mates, customers, 3rd party leaders to enhance the credibility and closing power of your sales message.

10. Don’t sell. Let them buy YOU.

Never use cheap hype or cheap slogans to try to “SELL” your business, system, product or service to a prospect. The power is in explaining the benefits and how your product, service or systems will take care of their specific problem.

Are You An Alpha, Pre-Alpha or a Beta?

To be successful with Attraction Marketing you need to know who YOU are…..

A key aspect in attraction marketing is your mindset. You must believe in yourself before anyone else will believe in you. So know if you’re Alpha or Beta material or some place in the middle is important to your success and the ultimate success of your team.

So What’s an Alpha Anyway?

An Alpha is defined simply as a leader. These are the most prosperous people in the organization, the people everyone wants to be around, be seen with and they really want to be on their team. This is where every network marketer should strive to be.

So How Do I Become an “Alpha”?

Training, training and more training. Leads are passionate learners. They want to learn and they want to teach what they learn to others. They understand that teaching others what they learn reinforces their own knowledge. They are confident in themselves, so failure is just a stepping stone to the next big opportunity.

An alpha mentality is not all about business. These people carry these traits to all aspects of their lives. Failure is not an option for these people. They are forward thinkers and see the big picture. They know what they want from life and aren’t afraid to go after it. Risk?? Just a part of life….

A Beta on the other hand is just the opposite. These are people who want to be like the alpha but are not willing to make the sacrifices to get there. They are generally followers who want the “do it all for me” business opportunity. Because they are unsure of themselves they are uncomfortable with taking on any role of a leadership. They are reactionary, rather than goal orientated. These people can succeed, but it’s a really long road to getting there.

Then there’s the in between - The Pre-Alpha. The only difference between pre-alpha a beta is the pre-alpha has vision, courage and a willingness to keep trying. They typically will push through the adversity to make the kinds of changes they hope for in life. But it’s for them, they still do not have the confident leadership skills to assist others.

So where are you?

No matter what category you find yourself in right now, you can change. The goal of every network marketer should be to become an Alpha. The only way to make the big money in this industry is to become a leader.

So take a look at your skills, understand where you need improvement, and “just do it”. We all want success and we all deserve success.

Honesty is the Best Policy for Your Home Business

Mom Was Right and Here Are 6 Reasons Why……

Not all home business owners are moms but I know we all had one. So do you remember when mom told you honesty is the best policy? Well she knew what she was talking about.

If you have been in the business of network marketing for any longer than 24 hours you have experienced the feeling of someone not keeping a promise. Some people will tell you anything to get you off the phone. For whatever reason way too many people never follow through with what they said they were going to do when they hung up the phone.

So after awhile you find yourself wanting to tell that little white lie to get someone to really commit. How would they know anyway that you are lying? I little white lie never hurt anyone. Or does it?

Let me tell you a story. My husband received a call from someone the other day wanting to know more about a business opportunity we belong to. This person asked very pointed questions, they had been burned before and where doing their homework. My husband told them the honest truth about the income potential and what we were currently making. Turns out this person was an experienced marketer and would have known if he was blowing smoke up his skirt. Because of his honesty, they joined our team.

But I promised you 6 reasons why honesty is the best policy, so here go’s!

Honesty builds character – your honesty with others makes you believable. If you’re going to become successful in a home business you need to become a leader. Leaders need to be trusted.

Honesty builds loyalty – when you are honest with people they learn to believe in you. They trust that what you say is spot-on and you are not leading them in the wrong direction. People need someone they can trust.

Honesty develops relationships – a network marketing business is all about creating relationships. You can only succeed in this business by building strong relationships with your downline. Helping others honestly and openly is what makes our world go round. We all need friends to help us along.

Honesty builds your confidence – when you are honest with people you can hold your head up proud. Integrity is a value you should never compromise. Without integrity you will not succeed in any aspect of your life. I use to tell my kids not to lie, that they would get caught up in all those lies and forget what they told someone. Then no one will trust you again. Even if it is tough to swallow, be honest…

Honesty attracts honesty – people like to surround themselves with the same types of people. If you are an honest person you will attract honest people to your business. If you are an honest person you really don’t feel comfortable around people who are not.

Honesty will increase your enrollment – when people feel comfortable with you, you will naturally develop a following. People do not like being sold. Honesty in your business will drive new business. Offer pros and cons to the business and assist when you can.

You know from your day to day experiences that sometimes it is the little things that count in life. Well that is no different when it comes to your home business. If you are an honest, trustworthy person, you will go far in life and in business. Remember that saying Grandma use to say “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
